Countinghouse is an established forex direct hedge fund which uses algorithms & mathematical techniques to force profit from volatility in the market. Forex Hedge Funds

When looking at very successful money management firms, I see funds that trade in stocks. I really enjoy the forex market but I’m unsure on how I can scale a one man trading setup to a larger operation as I don’t know if there are big forex hedge funds. Is forex trading scalable enough to reach that level of money volume? Who has done it? Are there any books or interviews I can watch to better educate myself?

I know there are a few out there (Capricorn FX, FX Concepts, along with a plethora of CTA's) but im curious as to why there aren't more FX/Commodity based funds that focus entirely around these instruements. I don't know much about commodity trading as far as their liquidity but the forex market is ideal for trading as it's super liquid and done right, can be very risk free in the sense that if a position is going bad, its easy to get out of it.

How the un/employment would look like?
How would (private) ownership look like?
How would be natural resources allocated/distributed?
Is the system working anywhere already? Where and with what results?
Would you enforce such system around the globe? Why? Under what authority?

If I may kindly ask, please put as much thought into this as possible, I'm extremely interested in fellow Redditors' visions. Write down your proposal in detail, and please avoid simple -isms (capitalism, communism, socialism, etc.). Thank you very much, looking forward to engage in discussions about models.

I really am surprised at how little this is being considered as a serious threat.
Because the Central Banks have been doing the same with assets like Gold and Silver bullion for years. Those assets have been range bound and useless for yield ever since!

Futures give institutions a mechanism to manipulate the price and sentiment - it gives them more control. Why must we have a mechanism in place to 'bet' on prices? What's wrong with the good old fashioned and simple Supply/demand without all these wall street games?

Save them to a folder and review them regularly.
When you look over them, you'll be able to easily draw conclusions and make modifications to your strategy based on them. For example, during my quarterly review yesterday I noticed that when X, Y and Z all happen at the same time I very rarely lose that trade. But when X and Y occur without Z, the trade has a negative expectation. So in the future, I'm not taking trades without Z present.
Obviously this won't apply to everyone, but I think this is solid advice for most traders.

I want to get a job in forex for a bank/hedge fund?

Looking for advice as to how to go about this. A little background, I am 25 years old, some college education but no degree. I started trading when I was 20 (total noob with zero idea of what I was doing). I am now consistently profitable but not trading at the level I should/can be at. That level being 10%+ monthly. In this 5 years I have learned more than I could have ever imagined about economics, markets, geo-politics, etc etc. I feel like performance will not be an issue for me. My concern is my resume/credentials which are non existent.
My plan now is to keep trading and start my own fund..I have access to a network of investors who invest in real estate loans looking for 10-12% annual returns. I am sure that after a couple years of showing 20-80% annual returns they will be more than willing to invest with me but that is years away. I have my real estate license which takes considerable time and effort away from trading while not a steady source of income yet either. I drive lyft to pay my bills now.
